Product Description

Chlorinated Paraffin’s (CPs) are complex mixtures of certain organic compounds containing chloride: polychlorinated n-alkanes. Chlorinated Paraffin’s are classified according to their carbon-chain length and percentage of chlorination, with carbon-chain lengths generally ranging from C10 to C20 and chlorination from approximately 55% by weight. It is a transparent viscous liquid having distinct sweet odor. It is essentially insoluble in water but soluble in other chlorinated solvents.

Applications Chlorinated Paraffin

Chlorinated Paraffin’s is used as plasticizers used to impart flexibility and flame retardant quality to PVC Compounds, Cables, Footwear’s, Flooring, Films, and Sheets etc. and also use for a wide range of industrial applications, as follows:

. Poly vinyl chloride (PVC)

· Metal working oils

· Paints

· Polymeric materials

· Sealants

· Mastics

· Leather treatment chemicals

· Lubricants (cutting oil)

· Rexine cloth

· Textile treatment

· Gear oils
